Let's deal is a marketing channel and intermediary of services and goods. There are also cases where we sell goods or services in our own name. Due to this multi-faceted role, it can sometimes be difficult to understand the scope of our personal data responsibility.
When a Partner is listed as the selling party in a deal, we are the personal data controller for the processing that takes place within the framework of our intermediary mission. The partner, on the other hand, is the personal data controller for the processing that takes place to deliver/perform what the customer has purchased. Partner is thus responsible for its processing and that it meets the requirements set by applicable data protection legislation. When we are listed as the selling party in a deal, we are the personal data controller for the processing that takes place in order for you to get your product/service delivered/performed. This means that the actors we employ to, for example, manage packaging and delivery as a starting point act as personal data assistants for us. We enter into special agreements with these parties, among other things to ensure that your personal data is not used for purposes other than that you should receive what you purchased.
Feel free to contact us if you have questions about our or our Partners' personal data responsibility.

3. Information from other actors
It happens that we at Let's deal receive personal data from other actors and not directly from our users. This can occur, for example, when authorities contact us or when our payment service provider contacts us about a certain transaction.
Personal data under this category can be data linked to your purchase, for example payment method, purchased product, price, etc. Since the flow of information is not controlled by us, we cannot provide an exhaustive list of the types of personal data that may occur. Therefore, we also cannot state which legal basis will be applied when processing such personal data. If you have questions regarding this type of situation, please contact our customer service and they will help you further.
On certain occasions, we need to share personal data with Partners and other service providers. We will then be transparent with which personal data we share and with whom we share this personal data. We also take precautions on such occasions, adapted to who we share personal data with. This is to ensure that your personal data is not processed for other purposes than intended.
We at Let's deal may share personal data with personal data processors, which means that this party processes personal data on our behalf. Personal data assistants are subject to confidentiality and are not permitted to process personal data on our behalf for purposes other than offering the agreed services to us.
To ensure that our personal data assistants comply with relevant legislation, we enter into special agreements with these parties. Such agreements, called personal data processor agreements, aim to ensure that the personal data processor processes personal data on our behalf only in accordance with the current agreement.
There are also cases where we share personal data with third parties who should not be seen as personal data processors. In such cases, we will be transparent about how and why we share personal data with this party. An example of such a situation is when a customer has purchased a deal that qualifies for Root or Square deductions. Then the partner who will perform the service needs a verification from us that contains personal data. The partner needs this verification to handle matters with the Swedish Tax Agency. In these situations, we share personal data for the sake of customers and partners, namely so that they can benefit from Root or Square Deductions.
We at Let's deal will only process personal data that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is processed. We work actively and systematically to ensure that redundant personal data is excluded from our processing.
We process your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the relevant purpose or for such a period of time as is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation. Processing to fulfill a legal obligation consists of cases where we need to save accounting information for accounting purposes, or in cases where we need to save customer data in order to satisfy consumer rights.
We at Let's deal strive to only process personal data within the EU or within the EEA area. In some cases, it happens that our own or our partners have their servers located outside the EU or EEA area. In such cases, we initiate processes to enter into special personal data processing agreements that are adapted to processing outside the EU or EEA area.
